LOCATION
My office is located near the corner of Kantstrasse and Kaiser-Friedrich-Strasse in
Charlottenburg, about two blocks from the U7 at Wilmersdorfer Strasse, the U2 at
Sophie-Charlotte-Platz, and the Charlottenburg S-Bahn.
POLICIES
Sessions
Sessions are sixty minutes in length. Ninety-minute sessions are also available, and
can be scheduled in advance or by client request during the first hour.
Recommended frequency of sessions is once or twice a week.
Scheduling
You may call or write me at any time to make an appointment. Office sessions can
be scheduled for between 12-8 p.m. (CET) on weekdays and 12-4 p.m. on Saturdays.
Phone sessions can be scheduled for times outside my regular office hours when
needed to accommodate the time difference between countries. (For crisis
counseling I am also available at other times.)
Confidentiality
Effective counseling calls for the client to be as open as possible. While the
counselor-client relationship is different from a friendship, it is my hope that you can
be as open with me as you would be with a very discreet, non-judgmental and trusted
friend. To encourage that openness and trust I want to assure you that everything
you tell me during the course of our working together will always be kept completely
confidential, in accordance with the counseling code of ethics. The fact that you are
(or have been) a client of mine will also be kept completely confidential, unless you
yourself choose to reveal it.
FEES
My services are private-pay and due at time of session, however they may be
reimbursable through some non-German insurance plans.
All fees include free reading material, as well as unlimited free e-mail support for the
duration of our working together.
